Goals for Life (GFL) is a non profit corporation founded by novice-soccer moms, whose mission is to raise funds for women's health initiatives. This includes life threatening diseases as well as concerns and issues affecting our community and the world around us.
In 2001, GFL hosted the first annual soccer tournament at Brookdale Park in Essex County to raise funds for breast cancer research, treatment, education and awareness of this life threatening disease. Our proceeds of 31,000 dollars were donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation North Jersey Affiliate. On June 6, 2009, GFL had their 9th Annual Women's Tournament with proceeds going to two local breast cancer charities.
