T-Shirt and Ad Journal Design Contest

Goals For Life, Inc. is conducting a contest to design our 2011 t-shirts and charity tournament ad journal cover. The contest is open to all students attending high school in Essex County. The Board of Trustees will select the winning design(s), which will appear on our tournament t-shirts and ad journal. We will display additional qualifying submissions at the field on June 4, 2011, the day of the tournament.

We encourage all students to participate in this contest. It can be a way to earn volunteer hours, gain recognition for your artwork and develop your college portfolios. If you have any questions, we can be reached via phone or email.

Contest Rules:

1. All designs must include a slogan.

2. Designs should include the words “Goals For Life” and either 2011 or “11th Annual Tournament”.

3. All contestants must be attending high school in Essex County, as of January 1, 2011.

4. All designs must be received by Goals For Life by April 15, 2011.

5. Designs are limited to two colors, plus black.

6. Designs may be submitted in paper form or .pdf

7. All designs must be original and may be drawn by hand or with the aid of a computer.

8. Designs may be submitted via email to Goalsforlife@comcast.net or via regular mail to Goals For Life, Inc., P.O. Box 43265, Upper Montclair, NJ 07043

9. There is a limit of one design submission per contestant.

10. Once submitted to Goals For Life, all designs become the sole property of Goals For Life, to be used freely at our discretion.

11. Designs should be sized properly to fit on an 8 ½ by 11 booklet cover or a standard t-shirt.

12. Appropriate content, language and images are required.
