Goals for Life, a Montclair based organization founded nearly three years ago, will donate money it raises to provide a much needed emergency transportation service for domestic violence victims and food and medical supplies for those victims in need. Donations will fund continuing education programs for existing and new volunteers, prevention education, self-defense programs and community awareness programs for adults and teens.

Domestic violence has finally been recognized as a complex social problem that requires coordinated community interaction and response. There is much more that needs to be done, and we need your help. You can support Goals for Life's fund raising efforts by becoming a sponsor of its 2003 Sports Memorabilia Auction at the Van Vleck House and Gardens in Montclair on Saturday, Feb. 8th and its Third Annual Women's Charity Soccer Tournament on Saturday, June 7th at Brookdale Park in Essex County. The enclosed sponsorship forms provide details.

Women of all cultures, races, occupations, income levels, and ages are battered - by husbands, boyfriends, lovers and partners.(4) These women are your neighbors. Please help them by supporting Goals for Life.
