The donation is the proceeds from Goals for Life's 2002 fund raising activities, including its Sports Memorabilia Auction and Women's Charity Soccer Tournament. The donation will be used to provide reconstructive breast surgery to women in need.

Goals for Life held its 2003 Sports Memorabilia Auction at the Van Vleck House and Gardens on Saturday, February 8 (click here for article). The Third Annual Women's Charity Soccer Tournament will be held at Brookdale Park on Saturday, June 7. This year, "In the Pink" provided guidence and support to 1,700 women through its screenings and wellness sessions at Saint Michael's Women's Health Center, in addition to education sessions at community-based locations.
September 9, 2002, Montclair, N.J. -- Lisa Ciardi (right), a co-founder of Goals for Life of Montclair, presents a check for $28,000 to Lois Greene, project director and Jordan M. Garrison, MD FACS, of "In the Pink," a breast cancer early detection and education program at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark.
